Prince Harry and Meghan will join other members of the royal family to receive the Queen’s coffin at Buckingham Palace. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will meet King Charles, the Queen Consort, the Prince and Princess of Wales and Prince Andrew in London tonight. The family will also be joined by Princess Anne, who accompanied the coffin on its flight from Edinburgh, and Prince Edward, along with Sir Tim Laurence and Sophie Wessex. Also in attendance will be Princess Beatrice and Edo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank as well as Zara Philips and Mike Tindall. It is hoped the meeting could signal a possible healing of the rift between Harry and Meghan and senior members of the royal family.

Oprah Winfrey earlier said she hoped the Queen’s mourning would be an “opportunity for peace” for William and Harry. The talk show host conducted the bombshell interview with Harry and Meghan last year, which deepened the rift between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and other members of the royal family. The couple were interviewed following their move to California following their announcement that they will no longer be full-time royals. The landmark interview included claims that an unnamed royal mentioned the color of their son Archie’s skin before he was born and that Kate made Meghan cry in a row before her wedding.
