Officers were called to Woodvale Green, near Craig Henry Drive and Knoxdale Road, around 10:10am. of Sunday. One person was taken into custody at the scene. Police say Nikolas Ibey, 33, is charged in the death of Savanna Pikyyah, 23. Ibey appeared in court on Monday. Neighbors who spoke to CTV News said the neighborhood is usually quiet and family-friendly. Those living nearby said they heard nothing and were shocked to hear the news. Neighbors said they saw a man being arrested by police but were unable to identify him. Police have not released details on how Pikyyah died.
