Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has a lot to prove this offseason after signing a five-year, $230.5 million extension. Things will be a little tough for Murray to start the season, as he is without star DeAndre Hopkins, who is suspended for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy. The Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes leading their offense and as long as that is the case, they are a threat to any team in the league. Mahomes, like Murray, will be without one of his most reliable players, Tyreek Hill, who left Kansas City for the Miami Dolphins this offseason. Mahomes still has Travis Kelce and Juju Smith-Schuster making his Chiefs debut. Both teams have high expectations as the 2022 NFL season begins, and going up against another top team in the league will be a good test for either side.
