An adult and two children also live in the residence and were able to escape without injury, the news release states. “Fire damage was limited to the garage with minor smoke damage to the remainder of the occupancy,” the City of Calgary reports. “Adjacent units were immediately evacuated as a precaution, with residents quickly occupying their homes.” Calgary fire and police arson investigators are investigating the cause of the fire.
