Following Queen Elizabeth’s death at Balmoral Castle on Thursday, the royal family once again appeared in public to accept the outpouring of public grief for their beloved matriarch. King Charles and his sons, Princes William and Harry, quickly left Scotland to return to England, but the Queen’s other children and grandchildren stayed behind. On Saturday, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and the new Prince and Princess of Wales walked outside Windsor Castle to greet well-wishers and watch floral tributes. Earlier in the day, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Prince Andrew and their children attended a church service at Crathie Kirk, a small church near Balmoral, and received the tributes outside Balmoral, and yesterday, King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort greeted well-wishers gathered at Buckingham Palace. It was Kate’s first appearance since King Charles gave her the title Princess of Wales. The foursome had not been photographed together in public since 2020, at the annual Commonwealth Service in London, shortly before Meghan and Harry moved to California.
