John Powell – GlobalTV.com Banned from today’s Power of Veto competition for not waking up or coming down in time, Head of Household Monte blames himself for Brittany’s win this morning. However, she doesn’t appreciate her game. Monte spoke to the cameras after an extended meeting with Brittany, during which she secretly threatened him. “Is he threatening me that a person who has a vote might not keep you next week because you didn’t take that action to build trust now?” Monte said shaking his head. “The threats in the game are a one-way street for things. Does he think I’m the one who should feel good about being threatened? He obviously doesn’t know about me,” he continued. Monte then criticized her pitch more. “I don’t bring up my personal stuff in game discussions about what people should do in relation to my game. We’re just talking as humans. I learn more about you as a person because I care about you as a person. I don’t use it for gaming though. The fact that he did that rubbed me the wrong way,” he said. Monte also confirmed that he will not nominate Turner when Brittany uses the power of veto on herself. “Why get rid of Turner when he’s got a bigger target on his back next week and he’s tight with me so I’m not the target next week?” he said. All in all, Monte hopes Brittany leaves next week. “There are so many red flags in this conversation that it’s just obvious that she needs to be on the first plane out of here because I don’t respect her game right now,” he said. “It’s not good for my game to get rid of Turner like that. I’m not going to do it.” Taylor interrupted the solo diary session in the HoH room. “It sucks because I wish I could have prevented it. I just have to take responsibility for everything that happened this morning and live with it,” he told her. “You mean you don’t wake up?” asked. “Yeah, that part. I’m kicking myself for it, but here we are. Brittany is going to fall apart, so I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place with this whole decision,” he said.
