HoH Monte and Turner thought they had the game on cruise control, but it looks like Brittany has thrown a wrench in their plans. The houseguests woke up early on Saturday morning to compete in an earlier than normal Power of Veto competition. It was revealed on the live streams that Brittany won the Power of Veto and because she did, it guaranteed her a spot in the final four. Since she was nominated by Monte along with Alyssa, this means that Monte now has to choose between his parachutes, his allies, Taylor and Turner as to who to nominate over Brittany. This could cause some stretching and friction in the ranks. The contest appears to be an individual timed race that shocked the visitors. After waking up they had two minutes to get ready for the competition. It seems that Monte didn’t make it in time and was eliminated. “They wanted us to fight,” Brittany said. “Congratulations Brittany! You’re in the final four!” Alyssa said to Brittany as they all gathered in the kitchen afterwards. “You’re locked in,” Monte said. “Competition in the middle of the night. This is crazy!” Taylor said. Taylor talked to Taylor in the warehouse afterwards. “You’ve been really scaring me all week,” Taylor told Brittany. “It was difficult when Michael left. I felt like everyone turned away from me. I do not know what to think. I have to talk to everyone,” a confused but excited Brittany replied. “I wanted to talk to you because everyone was telling me you’re throwing me under the bus,” Taylor said. “Why didn’t you bring it to me?” Brittany asked. “The things they were saying were things that only I told you,” Taylor said. Brittany told Taylor that she feels like Taylor chose to believe other people over her. In the HoH room, Monte and Turner talked about the crazy day they already had in the Big Brother house. “That was the scariest thing ever,” Turner told Monte. Turner was upset that he screwed up at the end of the competition and lost by a hair to Brittany. “To be so close to that win was very defeating,” Turner said. “How are you feeling? It’s too bad you couldn’t play,” Turner asked. “I blame myself for that because I definitely could have done it in time. I thought I had two minutes. I can pee, put my contacts in and go downstairs. It was two minutes. It wasn’t even much of a pee…” Monte said before the streams stopped their conversation. When the feeds came back, Monte assured Turner that he wouldn’t be going on the block. Taylor is. “The only thing they’re up to is putting me upstairs,” Turner said of Brittany and Taylor’s separate meeting downstairs. “..and you’re not,” Monte said. “Thanks, man,” Turner said. “I tell you as a man and a man, you are not going up,” repeated Monte. “Thank you,” Turner said again. “I’ve been thinking about it all morning. I didn’t sleep again. Why should I put you on? I don’t believe these two would make the decision to keep you over Alyssa especially now that you have Michael on your resume. I’ve also been thinking about this whole girl thing. They say Alyssa brought it up and then Brittany puts it on Taylor. Taylor puts it on Alyssa. If you’re missing, I’m done next week,” Monte said. Big Brother USA airs three times a week on Global TV.
