Emergency crews were called to a “horrific” accident involving a logging truck on Mabel Lake Road on Friday. Witnesses tell Castanet that the accident happened Friday morning when the truck driver failed to negotiate a corner and crashed into another vehicle. Police were still at the scene at 4pm “[A] The logging truck went through curve a too fast and took a passenger vehicle right off the road,” Iris said. “It lost its load and overturned the whole rig. The sight was horrible.” Despite the serious collision, Iris said no one was seriously injured in the collision, although this has not been confirmed. “Very fortunately [there were] without serious injuries, the guardian angels must have been on overdrive,” Iris said. Witness Robert Bryshun said police took several measurements at the scene at about 4 p.m. He said the accident was about seven kilometers from Enderby at a tight corner of Mabel Lake Road.
