Reflecting on the wider royal family, Sharon said: “So many people miss the point – they are a family, a tight-knit family. The grandchildren and children will be completely devastated.
It represented strength. Why would anyone want to come to Britain? Because of our traditions, because of our royal family.
“Everything that comes with Britain is historic. It kept moving forward and that’s what makes Britain different from any other country – our traditions.’

The British-American TV star spoke of recent jubilee celebrations for her majesty: ‘Look what we’ve had this year celebrating her – that’s been great – nobody does it like the English.
“It will never happen again in our country that there will be another monarch who will reign for so long.
“You could never say anything against the queen, she never put a step wrong. And when she took her oath to be the servant of this country, she never broke it – she served this country all her life.
“You can imagine the things she must have put aside, personal, family, things she would have loved to have done, to serve her country.
“She was never wrong, a wonderful woman. She will go down in history as the greatest Queen the country has ever had.’

The monarch’s death has been confirmed and a Buckingham Palace spokesman said: “The Queen passed away peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this afternoon and return to London tomorrow.”
Her son Charles, the former Prince of Wales, is now King Charles III as the world mourns his mother, Britain’s longest-serving monarch.
Sharon added: “It’s worrying and I know the mourning will go on and on, people will never stop grieving for her, but I have to say I think Charles will be an amazing King, I respect him so much. think he will take care of us all.
“He’ll be a good king, he can’t fill her shoes, but he’ll do it his way. I have every confidence, I adore him, I respect him and he will do great things for this country.’

The Queen’s death will send Britain and its Commonwealth realms into a ten-day period of mourning as millions of her subjects in the UK and abroad come to terms with her death.
And as her son ascends the throne, there will also be a celebration of her historic 70-year reign which saw her reach her Platinum Jubilee this year – a milestone unlikely to be reached by a British monarch again.

“We deeply mourn the death of a beloved sovereign and a much-loved mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt across the country, the Kingdoms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.
“During this time of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which the Queen was so widely held.”
