Midnight Suns was announced in 2021 and was originally scheduled for release on October 7, 2022, with the Switch version coming later. In August, the title was further delayed and will now be released in December. However, the Switch version has yet to receive a release date. Watch the trailer here: Developed by Firaxis Games, Midnight Suns will be familiar to XCOM fans. Players can control iconic heroes like Doctor Strange and Ghost Rider and have them move to various locations across the map to strategically take down enemies. There is also a social element to the game as players will take on the role of Hunter, an original character who can interact with the Marvel Universe. A short animated prequel will premiere on October 31 featuring the main cast of the game, including Blade, Ghost Rider, Nico Minoru, Magik, Iron Man and more. While Midnight Suns is dated for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, we’ll have to wait longer for a proper Switch release date.
